Strengthen the bones of your baby with simple steps
Some newborns suffer from bone health problems, which can cause the child difficulty walking, fracture for any reason, or bronchial stenosis, which may extend to age.
Dr. Abdel Nasser Hussein, Consultant Pediatrics & Neonatology, presented in his remarks for "Day Seven", ways to prevent children from having health problems in bones, such as:
- Exposure to the sun for 5 minutes daily, between 12 noon and 3 pm.
- Provide the child with vitamin D, to strengthen bones.
- Do not force the child to sit, before the age of 6 months, so as not to be deformed bone.
"Industrial milk contains vitamin D, which helps to strengthen bones, unlike the mother's milk, which is deficient in the vitamin," Abdel Nasser said.
